I'm Kate. I work in publishing and spend a lot of time in the gym and going to fitness classes.
I created this blog for two reasons; firstly, to help inform what's good and what's not in the hectic London fitness scene in an easily digestible way. Secondly, as a passion project. I'm a keen runner, gym-goer and lover of all things health and fitness. Having worked in publishing for the last three years, I live and breathe books, reading and writing. Starting a blog seemed like the perfect way to combine these interests.
My aim is to inspire - whether you're already into fitness or you'd like to be. Hopefully reading some of my posts will motivate you to try something new. My approach to training is cross-disciplinary; I want to be able to run a half marathon, to lift heavy weights, to be able to headstand, and the list goes on. For me, exercise is about making myself feel good by doing what I enjoy, and that may vary week on week, month on month, year on year. I hope I can help you find something that works for you. I'm not on a weight loss journey, nor a crazy restrictive diet plan, nor did I 'find myself' in my post-workout smoothie. I practice what I preach - that is; exercising, eating well and looking after myself. Why? Because I love it.
I'd really like to hear from you, so feel free to get in touch by contacting me here, or follow me on Instagram @i_move_me for healthy food recipes, class recommendations and daily fitness inspiration.
